What can we heal by changing our DNA?

Genetic researchers engage in a bitter patent dispute over technology with the potential to make precise "edits" in human DNA. As the patent case delays new clinical trials, a family struggles with the anniversary of a death and their shared experience of depression and suicidality.

A scientist must decide if she'll "borrow" her lab's technology and resources with the hope of finding a cure for depression in her own family.

Please Note:  This play deals with themes of depression and suicide. If you or someone you know is struggling with these issues, please reach out to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800- 273-8255 or the Contra Costa Crisis Center Line – just dial 211
